As a Sydney Water Major Works Contractor we hold all  public liability insurances and QMS certifications. Our quality assurance services cover all the needs to complete any project, including:

• Organising of construction commencement stage and any inspections required by Sydney Water and the Sydney Water Service Co-ordinator.
• Liaise with all Sydney Water Representatives throughout the project.
• Sydney Water Major Works Public Liability Insurances & Quality Assurance documents such as Safe Work Method Statement, Environmental Management Plan.
• All toolbox talks on site when required as per Sydney Water Major Works Contractor’s standards and if needed through the Principal Contractor on site requirements.,
• Asset Locating if need for site investigation of existing mains and other underground utility services,
• Dial before you dig services
• All required site visits and meetings.

Sydney Water Major Works Contractor’s standards

Our site crew and Team Leaders are very experienced to carry out all the Sydney Water Major Works Contractors’ requirements including:

• • Organize services location and marking of existing services with our Asset Locator. (which we specialise in as well)
  • Implement confined space measures (tripod, gas detector…) if required.
  • Site Risk Assessment
  • Manage and organise traffic control by separate RTA Accredited companies,
  • Install road plates if required.
  • Float all required plant, equipment and tools
  • Carry out all excavation and benching/shoring of trenches, depending on site access and equipment needed.
  • Supply all parts and fittings.
  • Supplyof backfill materials.
  • Organise all testing as per Sydney Water’s standards.
  • Backfill and compact all trenches.
  • Temporary restoration of roads and footpaths surfaces (hot mix/cold mix).

  All excess spoil can be removed (if needed) at the end of sewer concrete encasements or other Sydney Water Major Works or Minor Works.
